Good morning, my eye have been popping open at 4/5 pm the past 4 days, doesn't seem to matter when I go to sleep.  Maybe I need less sleep now?  I saw "spy" last night, it was very funny.  Today is work then home to relax as I work this weekend.

Good morning!

Sorry Barb, got sidetracked! LOL  I'm glad you went ahead! Enjoy party day 2.0 :)

Off to work (decided not to take the day off - got all my deadlines complete, will use today to organize, get ahead, and let's be honest, put out fires - never a dull moment in politics. lol)  Need to make a hair appointment (still) so maybe today after work or tomorrow morning dependant on my stylist's schedule (please be free please be free please be free), not sure what else for today. The townhouse complex management has decided to build me a new backyard (don't get excited - "townhouse" is more like "garden home", backyard the size of a postage stamp pretty much) and they gave me the option of patio stoning the entire space or leaving my large garden areas and based on the 2 weekends straight that I spent just cleaning it up/weeding/etc., I said sure. lol Anyway, my point in boring you all with this is that my backyard/patio has been ripped up for over a week and is a complete mud pit which sucks in the nice weather! I'm praying for clear(er) skies today so they can hopefully get some of the new patio laid. I do have a pretty new fence they built me. :D

Hi all! Just waving from here. Crazy busy still. Things have gotten a little better at home, and i'm hoping with the relief of the school year coming to an end, we will have some peace for the summer. Who knows what the fall will bring?

Training continues. 110km bike ride tomorrow, Nike Women's Run on  Toronto Island on Sunday. (and probably a swim). Exhausting but worth it right? lol xoxoxo to you all!

Surgery March 23/2011. Completed three full marathons and two half marathons, two half Ironman distances. Completed my first Full Ironman distance (4 km swim, 180 km bike, 42.2 km (full marathon) run) in Muskoka August 30/2015. Next Ironman Lake Placid July 23/2017!

Good morning all. Ate with some friends last night. They served lasagna but I waited to get mine at the end and just took the meat that was left over in the pan. I really no longer crave pasta. It has to be pretty special for me to eat it.  I have not put my meals in myfitnesspal today. I know most of the day will be fine but will be eating out tonight and although careful will probably indulge. It is good I just lost a coupe of pounds. We are going to our favourite restaurant ViVetha. It sounds Indian but isn't. Their bruschetta comes with cajun shrimp on flat bread. I know I will have at least one piece.

swimming at lunch today

b greek yogurt, granola,

s banana, peanut butter

l chicken in salsa, dessert yogurt

s turkey yogurt

d bruschetta and something great

Have a good day everyone

Afternoon all.

Yesterday was very weird for me. I got up with good intensions and went on with my business. I just felt tired though and not motivated to do anything. As the day went on, i felt an overwhelming sense of defeat and unhappiness, which then progressed to anger and frustration. I just wanted to be by myself. I even tried dancing since i love it and it cheers me up but, that didn't work. Maybe i was just hormonal and i never get pms so, i have no idea what it was. I'm a bit better today but, couldn't really be bothered to do anything either.

Hope you feel better. It has not been the greatest weather to cheer us up either. I hope this passes soon
