RNY  6 Years Post Op

Morning

I was waiting for someone to start this thread - I don't like to begin it when I really don't have food figured out properly

I will be eating and partying like an idiot the next 3 days - looking forward to it.  So, I am not going to list my food amounts other then to say that my pouch will keep me in check and I will still go for protein first as I always do.  BUT - I will likely consume roughly 2500 calories per day.

Todays Eats

B - Protein shake

S - with friends - bagel with cream cheese and coffee  ( haven't had one in 3 months and I am looking forward to it)

S - last nights leftover pork tenderloin with the night before's chicken cordon bleu

D - Pot Luck with my high school friends - I am making maple salmon so I know at least I have that - I will eat bites of everything and 2 glasses of wine over the evening....maybe three if it goes long enough.  ( Its at our home so I dont have to drive)

Water - 2 litres and all my vits - never miss this

Have a great one

I will be living vicariously through you with your bagel with cream cheese and your glasses of wine - I can't think of the last time I had either lol I always think I looooove bagels but feel terrible after eating 1/2 every single time!

1/2 may do it - but then I just might eat the whole thing and then feel bloated and disgustingly full and say why did I do this....until the next time!

"...until the next time!"

OMG, I know!! You'd think that feeling like absolute crap would stop a "next time" - nope :/

Morning sunshine :)

Zizzler, a concert with your singing group? Also, how's your gut? I noticed you mentioning a bloat, hope it got sorted out.

Off to work for a busy day - taking tomorrow off isn't looking too promising at this point! lol I have some time to flex since I worked 'til 9PM on Tuesday, so maybe I'll at least take the afternoon off tomorrow. And book the mammogram I have to get :/ And maybe get my hair cut - my hair is growing at a crazy rate lately for some unknown reason and suddenly I'm sporting what can best be described as a mop. ;)

9 years post-op

- coffee with cream x 3 over the day -

B - Premier protein shake (chocolate - even with the new formula and packaging it's still only "ok", will stick with vanilla once these run out but will try the instant coffee thing in it tomorrow)

S - Source Greek (cherry - so yummy!), a few grapes

L - tuna salad (mayo & green onion), cucumber slices, 4 melba rounds

S - muffin-tin crustless quiche with a few shots of Frank's and parm

D - 3-4 oz chicken breast, sautéed veggies tossed with a little Renee's Sweet Onion and feta (I've been making "stir fry bags" with assorted veggies, just grab-and-cook - saves a ton of time when I get home tired after work and don't have to cut up vegetables)

S - not sure yet but NOT the white chocolate M&Ms that have made their way into my home (thanks Andrew :/)

Have a fabulous Friday Junior!

K. :)

Hi Karen, yes it is a concert with my singing group.  I am so exhausted I don't know if I will have the energy.  My belly may be a little better, still feels like it's sticking out and extra round.  It is weird but I'll just assume it's my body readjusting. I like your stir fry bags idea.  I made a huge batch and since it does not freeze we'll have been eating it all week.  Also want to try smoothie bags with frozen yogurt and fruit.
