Got my meet the surgeon date! July 3 with Dr.Penner.

Typically how long after the meet date does surgery happen? I know it can be different for everyone but how long after your meet the surgeon date did you have surgery?

Sorry, not answering your question and being totally selfish... But my surgeon appointment is also scheduled with Dr. Penney. Can you let me know how yours goes?

I met my surgeon in Jan, and got a date that day for a month out. I could have had a 2 week surgery after meeting him but had to pu**** out a month. It's diff with everyone and I was at the beginning of the year so that may have played a part in timing as well.

My surgery was exactly 6 weeks after my meet the surgeon appointment.

I was though TWH Centre but my surgery hospital was TEGH and I had Dr. Aarts. I met her January 16th and my surgery was scheduled for February 4th. I could have had an even earlier date but had to give work some notice.

My meet the surgeon was with Dr. Penner he wasn't my surgeon come surgery day and that often happens, anyways at that appointment you will go with the nurse to the computer and decide on your date and for me my appointment was a Friday with him and I started opti fast on the Tuesday and surgery was 3 weeks later because that's how long I needed to be on opti
