Wait times at Guelph?
I am currently going through Humber. It has now been more than 16 weeks since my orientation and I still do not even know who my surgeon will be yet. I have heard that some people are getting through faster by moving to Guelph so I am just wondering what the wait times there are like? Can anybody give me an idea? Is it worthwhile to switch?

I'm in the same boat and wondering the same thing. My orientation was February 27th and I haven't heard from them since. Here's hoping we hear something soon.

Hi my referral was aug/14, I am meeting Dr Starr tomorrow. Was called about 3 weeks ago for surgeon appointment, If you switch you will start over again, call Humber you should be getting appointment soon.

My process from Orientation to surgery was 9 months, and it was prolonged a bit because of delayed sleep study results. And from what I'm hearing from new people going through, it's getting even faster. Take a look at my timeline below!
Referral sent- June/July 2014 Orientation GGH- Aug. 28/14 SW/Nurse/Nutritionist- Sept. 18/15 SW/Nurse/Nutritionist Part 2- Nov. 18/15 Pre-surgery education class- Feb. 9/15 Meet surgeon - Mar. 23/15 Surgery date- May 29, 2015 A great day to start a new chapter in my life!
I had surgery in Guelph on May 22 this year. I was referred on October 24/14, orientation was December and surgery in May. Went through really fast but I had no pre-existing conditions. Good luck with your journey!
