Meal planning is a big meal to them. 3 meals a day at minimum with 2 snacks less than 100 Calories and Protein, Protein, Protein try to ensure you have a source of protein each time you eat. I know it seems difficult but yogurts, tuna, low fat cheeses, all make good low cal high protein snacks. Good-Luck :-) Oh and keep reading your orientation package get to know it inside and out, basically memorize that thing. They do quiz you at your trio appt to make sure your doing your part and making changes.

It sounds like you are doing a lot of the right things.

You can be active at home as well.  Do you have a Wii or Xbox?  Go to EB games or check on kijiji for an used exercise game that you can do in the mornings before your little ones arrive.  I do the Wii fit or Zumba in the mornings.  I get up extra early and try to get at least 30 minutes in...leaving myself enough time to shower after.  Its hard to get up around 5 in the morning but it does give you energy for the day. You can take a protein shake with you to drink or some water with lemon in it, this helps you get in the water for the day.

Even taking the little ones for a walk every day is activity so make sure you include that in Myfitnesspal.

As far as the meals go, I like to make my lunch first.  You could have some salad made up in the fridge already and usually I have extra chicken or something left over from the supper the night before.  Munch on your lunch while you are getting the kids lunch ready.  I find it helps me eat slowly because I am busy making their lunch.  You need to practice eating slow and chewing your food quite a bit.

Keep some plain greek yogurt in your fridge....the Costo/Kirkland brand is really good.  It is packed full of protein and not much sugar.  Mix up a container in the morning with some fruit and sweetener like sugar free syrup. I put a bit of flax seed in it as well.  That way you have some premade snacks that are easy to grab and eat.

Plan ahead...cut veggies up when you buy them.  I know you can't do this with all your fruits and veggies but whatever you can do ahead of time, helps big time.

Good Luck in your journey!
