I am 12 months post op and I find that in the morning the amount I am able to intake is very, very little.  Comparable to the 2oz of fluids immediately following surgery but as the day progresses I can eat the required amount.  Anyone else have this?  Any ideas on why?

I'm only a month and half out but I find the same thing early morning.  It's like my throat or something goes dormant overnight and needs to re stretch.  The first few drinks in morning are usually not that comfortable, then it's ok.  Dunno if it's weird or just my new usual.

I am the same way, in the early morning (2-3 hours after I get up) I rarely eat anything as I have no appetite and get full super quickly, I almost always just have a protein shake and decaf coffee with my vitamins.  Around 2-3 hours after I get up I am ready for my breakfast, usually plain liberte greek yogurt with nuts and/or fruit.  That way, by the time lunch rolls around I already have 45g of protein in me.  I feel this gives me a little flexibility with the rest of my day in terms of protein.  My goal is to get 67g of protein per day, as per my centre's recommendation.

I'm the same but I don't worry about it for now as my vitamin/medicine regime doesn't allow for a decent breakfast anyway.
