You mention "bm meatballs" and "bm Swiss cheese chips".  What does "bm" stand for?  I know it's not what I'm thinking - LOL - but I'm curious now what it is short for! I'm sure it's something completely obvious that has me stumped. Haha.

lol your post made me laugh!  I never thought of it but it does make it sound pretty unappetizing eh?  bm= blue menu, they have this brand at superstore, loblaws, no frills, etc.

Hi Nia,

You mentioned that these are capsules.  I know it would be a pain, but would you be able to open them, even if you have to put them in something like applesauce?  Just thought it might be easier to get down than one big chunk.

Just a thought.

Cathy

Morning CC! Sorry about your phone - no, not sure what to do about that. I've heard that when you drop a piece of electronics in water, you're supposed to immediately turn it off (if it didn't upon hitting water), submerge it in a bowl of uncooked rice and leave it for at least 24 hours before trying to turn it on again so that it can dry out and not fry the circuits. But that's not helpful now.

So, I learned a lesson yesterday. I need to eat something substantial for dinner, especially when I'm packing my food to go for dinner, even if I'm eating enough calories for the day, or else I will be ravenous at night and eat like a person who just got off a deserted island. I learned that lesson on the scale too this morning. Sigh. I should have had the chicken spread sandwich for dinner and had the shrimp and salad for lunch instead. I was starving by the end of the meeting last night, and then when we went out afterwards together, I ended up ordering a charcuterie board (which was the best choice on the menu at least - a meat and cheese appetizer served on a board), and ate way too much of it. But...I'm here. And I entered my weight into MFP this morning even though it sucks. And I'm tracking again today.

Today I think I'm going to try riding my bike to work again. Looks like nice weather, it's Friday, and just a lovely day for it. No plans tonight - I guess just home for dinner since we went out last night. The thing about riding my bike, though, is that I have to figure out the balance between eating enough for energy and not eating too much because the activity makes me ravenous. Even when I eat well and ride the bike to and from work, I find that my weight often stays the same or goes up. Something to figure out, I guess. Anyhow, since I'm riding to and from work, I'm picking up a rotisserie chicken for dinner because I just know I won't have the energy to cook, and then it's crap grab time.

Yeah, I suck. I left too late to ride my bicycle (too busy preparing and packing food - haha!), so I rode my e-bike instead. Oh well! No exercise, but now that it's raining on and off, at least I'll get home quickly!

I feel your pain trying to figure out an eating schedule and not feeling hungry etc. I'm not as far out as you but it's a challenge sometimes to get enough food in for me so i'm not hungry later on. I think i've come up with a solution for me for now. I started eating every 2-3 hrs instead of the 4hrs i've been doing and a snack 2.5hrs after dinner and some 1% warm milk just before bed time has helped a lot and it helps me sleep so, win win situation. Mind you this has been good for just the last week, lol. It might change next week. Good luck to  you.
