Good morning everyone.  Happy Friday.

Well last night I dropped my phone in water and now it has funny water spots, but it is still working.  Any suggestions on what to do about the water spots?

Today it's swimming, gardening, paperwork, and tonight going out with a bunch of friends for dinner and dancing.

Morning all :)

Happy Friday!

CC, you're very lucky your phone still works! The only think I've heard that may work is putting your phone in a bowl of rice (uncooked of course!), maybe worth a try to dry it out. Have a wonderful time at dinner and dancing!

Obscene amount of work on my to-do list coupled with uncooperative people (how hard is it to schedule a meeting folks?! There is no way in hell you are busy all day, every day all next week, I'm sorry that staying past 5 makes your day too long, I'm sorry you feel you're pivotal to the meeting but since you are unavailable, tough **** and also sorry for the wake-up call that the councillors' schedules take the tiniest wee precedence over whateverthefuck you're doing. YOU WILL SURRENDER TO MY WILL. Thank you. LOL)

Oh, I have three words that equal pure unadulterated evil:  Dare. Cookie. Chips. I do not eat cookies, I do not imbibe in the glory of refined sugar as a general overall rule, but accepted a small, thin, crispy, omg-wtf-delish offering in salted caramel and I swear I spent the rest of the day plotting a theft of said cookie chips off my colleague's desk. Do not buy.

Other than that, everything is great. LOL  Two of Andrew's daughters (he has three) are unexpectedly coming for the weekend (15 year old twins), have a couple of errands to run after work, movie night tonight.

Thank you for allowing me to vent. lol

Karen I will try the rice solution, but may just carry a ziplock bag of it in my purse as I still need to use my phone throughout the day.  As for these inconsiderate people who are giving you agro......I need a list of names and addresses if I am to do anything about "persuading" them to attend meetings.  I may also have to "talk" to your colleague about bringing anything salted caramel into the office which is anyone's cryptonite.

Small disclaimer: I've never used the rice trick myself, here's hoping you don't end up with mush. ;)

The people are very considerate (of themselves lol)

Have a wonderful day!

Heh, great minds think alike, I guess. I've had my post reply window open since around 6:15 a.m. but then started gathering my food stuff together to pack for work with the laptop on the kitchen counter - trying to see what I have in the house while typing it out. So I didn't see your advice about the rice until I already hit "post" an hour and a half later! LOL.

Good morning everyone and happy Friday.  Karen, I hope your day goes nice and smooth. Also, vinta crackers are so good, if I had to pick a cracker that would we the one.  Cc sorry to hear about your phone, I hope the rice truck works.

i tried the sweet kale salad for the first time yesterday and ended up eating almost the whole bag. It was excellent but I hear what people say about it being easy to overeat.  I think this time I will have it with a protein to slow thing down.
