What are you eating/doing today? (Monday)

Good morning!

I've been holding off on posting thinking that someone else must be writing at the same time, but if appears I'm the first one here today.

Busy day at work ahead, NO errands to run after since I did all my "crap" on the weekend, home for dinner, not sure what else.  Had a productive Costco visit on Saturday and was *thrilled* to find my beloved roast chicken salad. I could have done without the torrential downpours and hurricane winds. lol

Barb - I checked when I was in Costco - they do have containers of Love Beets. I think it was 1 kg for $7.99.  They didn't say marinated however, I know you said you like the sweetfire ones.

9 years post-op

S - Source Greek (cherry), a few grapes

L - Costco roast chicken salad, a few cucumber slices used as crackers, and a few crackers starring as themselves ;)

D - breakfast for dinner - veggie omelet, 3 slices bacon

S - likely just coffee/tea

Have a good one,

K. :)

Yesterday was household drudgery day for me. I had great plans to do a bunch of laundry. Did I do it? No. I spent the day cooking and working in the kitchen. Well, at least the kitchen is sparkling! LOL.

Congrats on the new laptop! It's so much fun to get new tech toys (even when they're not toys but necessities - still feels like Christmas morning to me when I get some new gadget or other!)

Morning

Yeah I'm late this morning!  I am attempting to re-set my internal clock by going to bed later and getting up later.  It worked last night but only because I was watching my new favorite series on NetFlix and was able to keep myself from falling asleep at my regular 8:30 ish.  My friend told me about "Damages"....Love it and was able to watch 5 episodes of season one yesterday even though I had to cook/clean and get stuff ready for company.  As soon as they left we had it back on the TV..lol  AND - bonus - we PVR'd Game of Thrones, Nurse Jackie and Veep....

Ate too much yesterday but it was delish.  I cannot resist baked beans so will take the extra pan I made over to family.  Karen that's great Costco had the beets.  I think that's about what I pay in the regular store so maybe the same size?  or not much bigger.  I only like the sweetfire as they have a great kick.

Heading back to St Joes this morning to figure out if I need a scope for returning heartburn.  Lots of stuff afterward!

Everyone keeps telling me I have to watch Veep! The last series we (binge) watched was House of Cards, now we're caught up and waiting for the next season.

Also: Cool Whip! I hadn't thought of that. Good idea, I forgot they make the sugar-free kind.

Morning all. Yes Karen, early bird starts the post and it was you today, lol. I was so cold last night it was ridiculous. Still cold this morning but not as bad. Not much going on today besides following up on some resumes i posted a couple of weeks ago.

Maybe i put up my post late yesterday but, could someone help me combat night time hunger. I don't feel hungry during the day so i eat very little but, at night i feel hunger and i could eat a horse. I have calories left over from the day but i obviously can't fit everything late night. Any tips would be helpful.

B - scramble egg with cheese, tbsp tuna, 1/4 cup mango

L - 1/3 cup tuna with 1 tbsp salmon cream cheese, 1/3 cup cucumbers

S - 2 brenton crackers, 1 tbsp PB

D - 3 oz tilapia, 1/4 cup green beans, 2 tbsp rice

S - cappuccino, mini protein muffin, maybe left over tilapia

Totals: 764 calories, 45 carbs, 29 fat, 80 protein

Have a great day all, Nia
