Oh my gosh!!  I stepped on the scale this morning and it said 173lbs, making me finally....overweight!!

I am so happy I feel like crying. I am 9 months post op RNY, I was 291 when I was referred for surgery.

I had to share this with you all, this forum has been such an amazing support for me.  To those who are waiting for surgery please hang in there, it is so worth it and you can do it!

This has totally made my day!!!

Highest: 320, Surgery: 255 (Aug/14), Lowest: 132, Current: 167, Goal: 155

Thanks again for the reminder to stay on track.  I truly feel that I have changed my eating habits so much over the past 5 years, it is just normal to eat the way I do now.  Thank you for all your posts, for letting us live vicariously through you when you are down south, it helps to know it is warm somewhere in the world.

Ha ha, so true! I was talking to someone today and I said "I stepped on the scale this morning and it said I was overweight" and the person said "oh well, its ok..." like it was a bad thing.  I explained it was definitely a very good thing for me having been obese for 15 years and morbidly obese for 10 years.  Its funny how the same number can mean completely different things depending on how you look at it.  I am in heaven today, woohoo!

Thank you very much!  You will get there, just keep on trucking and you will see the results.  I was morbidly obese for 10 years, obese for 15 so I know it is hard.  If I can do it so can you.  Just never ever ever ever give up.
