The real deal: body after surgery.

This is a supportive place, your use of the magnifying glass is not obvious, and I'm sorry you feel judged. I can only base my responses on the questions asked. Frankly, my answer was productive if it got you, or anyone else reading, thinking about their reasons for surgery. If you don't wish to have the input of a 9 year successful vet, then block said person and carry on.

I always think, "wouldn't it be  nice if the Op returned and at least thanked those *****sponded. "  

Not this post specifically, but I often think the same myself - a simple "thanks" goes a long way to building friendly relationships here on the forum. Pat, Jiliana, Cathy and Kelly gave very thoughtful, helpful responses - cue crickets :/

I liked their posts. It's commonly accepted practice as a "thank you" on social media forums. 

But again Karen, thanks for your judgement. And this time, for realizing your responses haven't been helpful at all. They've only served to make someone who is new think they can't freely ask questions. Thanks!

Karen, I am a newbie, waiting on Orientation, and I love your answers.  You do keep it real.

Take it with a grain of salt.  She isn't the be all and end all of weight loss surgery. There are many, many other people here who will welcome you with open arms and accept you and support you.  

I completely understand why you would ask.  The sagging skin is a HUGE concern for me, because I know toning and firming can only take you so far.

Ask your questions without fear.  We ALL started in the same place.

I think that's great you got your orientation date, always exciting and the first big step. I think you will have alit if your questions answered there. There are testily amazing vets on here especially Karen who has so much great advice because she has been doing it for nine years! I think orientation will help you a lot and you may realize that the questions you have now won't be the ones later. All the best in your journey xo
