Took a flight, first time post-op..
So, I'm down 100 lbs since surgery which was almost exactly 5 months ago, not including the weight I lost pre-op. I'm still quite heavy but the feeling of not needing a seat belt extender was huge. I asked for one, she told me she'd bring it.. I sat down, tried the belt and behold! It was snug, mind you, but it clicked into place and I almost cried. Definitely made my day. :)

Congratulations Seyenna!!! This will be one of my biggest NSV's.....I haven't been on a plane in 10+ years because of my size. I will NOT put myself through asking for an extender, and being uncomfortable....so we go on road trips instead. I cannot wait to tell my kids and hubby....hey wanna fly there instead!!!! This is a big big deal and you must feel SO proud!!! Good on ya!
the seat belt extender and the fitting into a booth at a restauraunt were my top (2) NSV's....at 6 yrs post-op I can still do both, which I am pleasantly pleased about.
Congrats~!! Safe travels
prior to surgery 323lbs....4 years post-op maintaining between 108- 114 lb loss.
life is AMAZING when you continue on the right path~!. Use your surgeons gift to the fullest~!
