Got call to book surgeon appt.!!!!
Message left for me yesterday to call and book my surgeon appointment, at Humber. Of course when I called back only got answering machine. Does anyone know what the hours for the booking receptionist are?

Hi Terri, I can feel your excitement!!! I remember that feeling and it wasn't very long ago.....before you know it, and although it may feel like moons away......you will be sitting on this infamous bench :) Enjoy the ride, learn as much as you can, research and read and keep your chin up!!!!

Dr. Starr is my hero.....
He is soooooo mild mannered and a HUGE calming influence. When my husband and I went to meet him, we were nervous....you know, unsure if this was the right decision for me....blah blah blah......we walked out of his office after speaking to him for like a total of 8 minutes and looked at each other and said....OK that is a no brainer....surgery it is LOL I actually saw him at his office today for my 3 week check up....he took a quick look at my incisions, asked me the basic questions and told me to continue doing what I have been doing and he would see me in 3 months 
At your first meeting you will be weighed and then he will go through the surgery with you, go over any questions you may have. HE is incredible!!! His staff, Mary Jean and Tracey are INCREDIBLE too!!! Love them all!!! Ask tons of questions until you know without a shadow of a doubt this is the path for you.

8 minutes!! So funny, I said 5 minutes to my husband!! We are about 90 minutes from Humber, I said to hubby, big drive for 5 minute appointment. But that's OK!! Have heard so many good reviews of Dr. Starr. 3 weeks today will be one,step closer!
