What are you eating/doing today? (Sunday)
Tanya,
I was going to ask you about that yesterday. I had surgery one week before you and I was worried that I wasn't eating enough. I am still in the puree stage and am looking forward to eggs and cheese next week.
This thread daily helps me so very much. Thank you ladies for sharing your menus.
Enjoy holiday Monday!
Hi Annie....not sure if this was for Tanya or me? Anyhow with Humber and our bariatric bible LOL we are allowed eggs in puree week so I gave them a go.....I had heard so many people can't tolerate them, but so far anything I have tried has been good. I am still mostly having puddings, yogurts, cream soups and protein shakes but have had eggs twice and flaked tuna and flaked ham once. Yes I am still learning so much and quite a bit from this thread....but what I plan on eating and what I actually manage to eat are two seperate entities LOL

Good morning everyone. Woke up at 6am for a couple of hours then back to sleep until now. It is such a luxury to be able to sleep and not have to worry about the alarm for once. Going to make today about me, just go with the flow of what the day brings for a change without a set plan. I am nearly 3/4 done the book "wild" and I really like it, even though I know what happens from the movie, the book adds a depth of detail that is not in the film. Tried a new protein bar this morning, Ansi Gourmet cheesecake strawberry supreme, all natural and made with whey protein isolate. Texture is different than other bars, I think in a good way, and it tastes good. Nice change from the usual bars.

I'm late to the game but I'm here. I will probably take the puppy for a good long walk in an hour or so then come back for "lunch" in the late afternoon. Of course I meant to do this all in the morning, my days get off track so easily when I sleep in! Later tonight I'll probably watch a movie at home or possibly an outing to the cinema nearby if my sweetie is up for it after work.
