What are you eating/doing today (Wednesday)
Julz, if you're anything like me, routine is key. If eating the same things helps you create routine, power to you. Barb and I tend to do the same thing - find a few yummy menu items and eat them (really very) regularly. lol
I've forgotten when you had surgery, remind me?

Thanks Karen, I am just coming up to the eight month mark. I love this thread and have enjoyed everyone's menus along with all other topic posts. Makes me jealous I am not a go getter in the kitchen or tackling my new life fully. I unfortunately have had some struggles and lots of questions along the way and feel very alone when it comes to discussing the surgery and shy when it comes to posting. I have not told anyone but three people and now there is such a change in me I am struggling to deal with the reactions and wishing I never did this. I never thought I would have that kind of reaction I thought I would be strong enough to embrace this. I am approx. 106 lbs down. I am so sorry to vent or put that out but I am telling myself to try and own this and maybe as each step I do it will get easier. I like all you guys with your support of each other. You all seem like such good friends so I have never wanted to interrupt the flow. Silly I know but true. Sorry for the long read my goodness....seems I can write a book with all that is bottled in me, lol. Off to figure out today's menu and get it posted, cheers and thanks again.
Oh Julz...
First and foremost, you are so welcome here! The struggles you're having and the feelings you're dealing with is exactly why this forum exists. We all need support, guidance, and just someone to talk to - someone who understands what you're going through because they've been through it too. As for the "what are you eating" thread - we are good friends and there is a real camaraderie amongst us. But... absolutely everyone is welcome to join the thread each day! You (and anyone else) are not interrupting any flow - we're happy to have you!
Karen xo
