I have gained 80 pounds back???????????????
No, I would not say that an 80 pound regain is "normal" at all.
Please see my previous message to you on this thread - you have some serious questions to ask yourself.

I would only get a revision if there was something "mechanically" wrong with the original surgery. A revision (like any other stomach surgery) can put you at risk for more scar tissue, which can lead to blockages. As people have asked, are you able to try to get back to basics to get the weight off? I know someone who lost over 130 pounds after she had a regain at 5 years out. It can be done and takes a lot of work. It's not as easy as when we first had surgery, by any means, but you still have the tool and it's still possible. We're here for you!
Surgery March 23/2011. Completed three full marathons and two half marathons, two half Ironman distances. Completed my first Full Ironman distance (4 km swim, 180 km bike, 42.2 km (full marathon) run) in Muskoka August 30/2015. Next Ironman Lake Placid July 23/2017!
thanks so much. Where do I start? What should I be eating at first? Do I start with liquids and then build it up? I could really use some advise. Does anyone have a diet I can follow? This is the problem with me I am good at following what I have to eat but I can't make up menus or figure out what to eat. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated. thanks
If you read the posts from both CatW and myself, we've answered this already and given you suggestions.
I find it extremely odd that you had surgery 4 years ago, yet you just joined the site almost a week ago and your first ever post is how you gained back 80 pounds and you seem to be ignoring the people who have taken the time to give you suggestions and assistance.

From your numbers, it sounds like you lost over 50% of your body weight, which is extremely uncommon. Average for surgery is 20-30%. You are still at 35%. So in that sense, if you gained some back but are stable, it's ok. Bigger question is whether you are still gaining?
I echo comments above, need to start with basics. Food journal, call your centre. Surgical options are pretty limited with RNY.
I don't understand your math. Most centres/practices say an estimated 60% TWL is a success, not 20-30%. I know many people who have lost 100% of their excess weight and have kept the vast majority of it off. It's not all that uncommon.

60-80% excess body weight. There is a movement away from this calculation since most people don't know what it means and since it relies on 'ideal body weight' which is non-sensical these days. Even then, 100% EBW lost is exceedingly uncommon. Even DS is typically only 70-85%.
I meant total body weight. Outside of surgical circles, this is how treatments are compared. 20-30% is average for RNY in long-term.
Hm. I still don't think I understand your math.
Anyway. I think the point we're trying to get across here is that regaining 80 pounds is not "normal" and needs to be addressed and NOT by simply adding another surgery to an existing problem.
