Happy Friday!
I see OH has started their migration over to the new system/format and I'm not a happy camper! I like to see the most recent threads started, not ones with the most recent activity (that might have been started months ago) - hopefully this is just a growing pain glitch. Work then home, not sure what else. For the ladies: I had some facial waxing done on Wednesday after work and I woke up with the most horrific welts and rash (VERY attractive to go to work with yesterday), have been taking Bendryl which helps a little, but this is miserable! Any suggestions? I'm afraid to put anything on it. :/
Didn't make it to the mall yesterday so maybe today at lunch, want to pick up a few of the GNC Total Lean shakes to try. CC, I read that you didn't like the strawberry - I'm hoping I do! lol
9 years post-op

Did you start to get red almost right after the waxing? I had one terrible waxer and I broke out almost immediately, apparently it was her technique and the heat of the wax that caused it. I just put a bit of oil on my face to soothe it, nothing with scent. Even olive oil helps.
I am surprised CC found it too sweet. As you know, I hate sweet, and definitely don't find them any sweeter than any other shake. To me they are all too sweet but they are all about the same sweetness to me. Hopefully you can find just a single and try it and see. I sometimes cut my shakes with some coconut milk to make them less sweet since I always buy unsweetened coconut milk.
Just the usual irritation red. Then that night my face felt hot (all over) and the next morning, all out red, itchy, painful, raised bump rash. I don't know if it's a reaction to the heat of the wax or if it's the wax itself. I've never had this happen before and I just want it to go away! lol I may try some oil later, just afraid of putting anything other than a cold cloth on it for fear it might make it worse.
I'm hoping I can buy a few singles too. I find everything sweet as well, as long as it doesn't taste too "artificial" I'm hopeful.

I already did that - and it was still checked "new threads", so nothing in my settings changed.

Have you tried Witch Hazel? I haven't tried it in years, as I haven't had a waxing reaction in a long time, but it worked before!
Hope all is well!
