Made it home
I am home now, feeling good about my surgery. No pain really, tolerating fluids and full fluids well. If I didn't have the heart issues after my surgery, I could almost say it was a "breeze". Really!! I have some med changes so crushing pills is my new normal. Have to go to my family doctor tomorrow for blood work and follow up. I would like to just be resting at home, but it seems I am going to need blood work every two days for a while. Dr. Glazer took excellent care of me in the hospital, when I got upset at one point and started to cry he said, "don't worry Judy, your future is bright!!" That is the first time any doctor has ever said anything like that to me. Mostly they just tell me how unhealthy and obese I am, and that I need to lose weight, or else...... yadda yadda yadda...
Thanks to all for the words of concern and encouragement. It means more than you know.
