Mine was May 2014 and now I am only a few days away from my surgery.  It seems like a long time but it goes by fast!  I suggest sitting right up front, don't miss a thing!  Ask questions and listen to the dietitian.  I got a lot from the orientation, although none of it 'surprised' me as I had done so much research and had already been a part of this great board!  I brought my husband with me, and he asked a couple of questions even! LOL  There were about 35 in my group orientation.  Enjoy!
