Hi Zizzler

It can be discouraging to get into a stall...sometimes you just have to ride it out

Re-check your stats and ensure you are getting enough protein and water....watch the carbs...if all looks good on your stats then just wait it out...( I cant remember how far out you are?)

I am 8 months out now so you would think that the stalls would not bother me but it still does!  I know it logically but it still messed with my head.  I have been more stressed lately a lot so maybe that is effecting things.  Just going to keep on trucking and as you said watch my food carefully.

SOrry this is happening. Barb had good suggestions for you. I find I really need to look at my carbs when trying to lose

i have been eating a small apple every few days, maybe I could switch that up, maybe do half an apple instead.  I know I ate a whole box of smart protein bars in 1.5 weeks and there are 18 in a box, they are good but still made with oats and 15g carbs per, it can add up. Think I will stick with the simply bars for now, I find them less addictive.

Stalls are going to happen all the time and it's completely normal and expected. You're 8 months out now and have lost a considerable amount of weight - the weight loss is going to slow down now as you have less left to lose. I never worried about stalls/pauses/plateaus along the way. I was of the mind that as long as I was sticking to the plan, my body would sort itself out and it did. I continued to lose, albeit very slowly, into my third year post-op.

I will say one thing though: check your carb intake. Your menu is way more carb-heavy than mine ever was in the losing phase. During that time, I kept my carbs between 30-40 grams per day.
