What are you eating/doing today (Tuesday)
Good morning everyone. Hey, I remembered my lunch today so yay for me :0). The nice thing is it was already packed for this s morning, saved some time. Going to the gym tonight, get some stress out. I have not lost in 3 weeks now, again my mind is getting discouraged. Just have to keep to plan and hope for the best.
8 months post-op
b - premier protein shake, xl decaf coffee
s - greek yogurt or cottage cheese with low carb protein granola
l - p28 bread slice with p28 pb, nsa jam, later...sf grape dasani
s - cucumber slices, small apple, later...xl decaf coffee
d - broccoli with sharp cheddar melted on top
s - low carb protein granola with skim milk
all water and vits
i have been eating a small apple every few days, maybe I could switch that up, maybe do half an apple instead. I know I ate a whole box of smart protein bars in 1.5 weeks and there are 18 in a box, they are good but still made with oats and 15g carbs per, it can add up. Think I will stick with the simply bars for now, I find them less addictive.
Stalls are going to happen all the time and it's completely normal and expected. You're 8 months out now and have lost a considerable amount of weight - the weight loss is going to slow down now as you have less left to lose. I never worried about stalls/pauses/plateaus along the way. I was of the mind that as long as I was sticking to the plan, my body would sort itself out and it did. I continued to lose, albeit very slowly, into my third year post-op.
I will say one thing though: check your carb intake. Your menu is way more carb-heavy than mine ever was in the losing phase. During that time, I kept my carbs between 30-40 grams per day.
