You will need to go in for your PATT.  Don't start your optifast yet.  Once you have a date, they'll tell you when to start it. I was to have 3 weeks of Opti before surgery, and they game a date at 2.5 weeks, so I missed a couple days but they said it was fine.

You'll do fine, don't worry about it.

Thanks Cathy!  Everyone has been so informative.  Glad I joined this site.  It is slowly filling in the gaps!

Congratulations!!  Don't worry about anything yet.  I would actually call them in a couple of weeks to see where you are on that short list.  Once they have your surgery date, they will call with your PATT date and when you should start your OPTI.

BIG HUGS girl and deep breath....you got this!

Once you get a surgery date, you can start the Opti Fast.  The surgeons office will let you know then when you should start your opti.

They will also set up your PATTS testing.  This is usually about 1 week before surgery.  You will be going to the hospital where you have the surgery for blood work, etc and you will see some drs to determine if you are up for the surgery or not.

Good Luck! You are on the home stretch now.
