Thankyou, I am 5.2 and weigh 240 and am scared if I lose too much, same as you, they won't do it! I have just started the process and have had one visit with nurse, dietician and social worker.

disappointment !

That does not sound right to me but I am out of another centre. I would persue it further, and if you do not agree with their decision you can contact the hospital patient advocacy to see what your rights are as a patient.  Good luck, and congratulations on losing the weight without surgery, at the very least it is good practice right?

According to the Dr, my blood pressure is under control so that disqualifies me. Also I have already been discharged from the program. I have decided to go to Costco and buy the Premier Protein shakes and see what progress I can do on my own.

First let me start by saying a huge congratulations to you on the progress and weight loss you've done on your own - really terrific. :)

With respect to your blood pressure being "under control" - do you mean it is under control with medication? Being under control simply to due medication is NOT under control - it's TREATED.

Just an FYI.
