I too have been reading and learning a lot from all of your posts. I am booked for surgery April 16/15 with Dr. Reed in Guelph, ON and I'm so thrilled to start this new chapter in my life. This chapter is going to be all about ME ( something very new).

Good luck, Dr. Reed is also my surgeon. He is the best in Guelph, and is one of the founding members of the centre.

CENTURY CLUB MEMBER at 6 months post-op.

Referral to Guelph Feb/13, Sleep study and all bloodwork and ultrasound May/13, orientation July/13. Nurse, NUT,SW Sept/13, 2nd NUT, nurse and SW, 3rd round and cleared for surgery Dec/13. Pre-op Apr 7/14, Surgeon May 2/14, Opti Jul 3/14, surgery Jul 17/14.

Thanks everyone so glad to be on this journey. I really liked Dr. Reed when I met him. He really put me at ease. 4 more sleeps. Yayyyyyy!

Good Luck...I didn't have Dr. Reed for my surgery, but did have him recently for a minor complication. He is great, as everyone is at Guelph.

Referral: Feb 2013/ Guelph
RNY May 20th 2014 (Dr. Bhojani)
2nd RNY (revision due to marginal ulcers) Aug. 10th 2015 ( Dr. Bhojani)
Revision to VSG (marginal ulcers): March 22nd 2016 (Hamilton, Dr. Hong)
Total Gastrectomy: Dec. 15th 2016 (Hamilton, Dr. Hong)

Hi there. How did your surgery go? I just got my first appt date with Dr. Reed so am curious how you made out. Any advice for meeting with Dr. Reed? Hopefully all is well with you.
