Good morning. Glad the interview went well yesterday.

Went out to listen to my daughter play last night. Big crowd great music. Only stayed for one set. After working all day my dh has trouble staying awake.

Busy day today. Off to a christening this morning. I am helping with the food and clean-up so will be there awhile. This afternoon hoping to get my bike out. Too windy yesterday. Also some gardening. Excited for dinner tonight. We are going to the Sony Centre for Faulty Towers. It is a dinner put on by actors portraying the characters of Faulty Towers. I had to guess at the calories for dinner. I am probably low.

Have a great day everyone. The weather seems to be cooperating.

Good morning everyone.  Tanya that is great that the interview went well,  best of luck to you next week.  Good for you for looking for something else, I know it can be scary.

Today I need to go to Costco as I need more protein bars,  greek yogurt, vitamins lots of stuff.  I try to limit my trips there as I nearly always end up buying stuff not on my list.  Plus the samples are always there, so available and free.  Also need to go to the gym to release some energy, next week is going to be killer stressful and I need to be as relaxed as possible in preparation.  Also going to do some cbt charting of the thoughts that are causing me to feel so anxious, hopefully this will help me come up with a plan to deal with some of the stressful scenarios I can see happening.  Plan to make some low carb granola tonight, some self-care to help ease the stress to come, hopefully, it is a new recipe but am giving it a shot.  I noticed this recipe calls for 1/2 cup of coconut oil but I will be halving that to cut some of the fat.  Plan to sprinkle it on my plain liberte greek yogurt if it turns out good.

7 months post-op:

b - premier protein shake vanilla, xl decaf coffee

s - 2 tbs pumpkin seeds

l - leftover low carb pizza with carmelized onion and diced tomato as toppings.  I froze the leftovers for lunches next week.  Very filling and yummy without all the carbs.

s - sf mango lemonade

d - same as lunch

s - low carb granola

all vits and water

Heyy gals!!  :-D

4.5+yrs post-op

How is everyone? Life is crazy busy for me.  My business is going fantastic and golf season is almost here; I also work at a golf course.  We got 2 puppies a couple of months ago, they keep us busy. We named them Fred and Wilma.

I had a physical 2weeks ago. I have gained a few pounds and she said she wants me to lose weight. She wants to see my bmi 23 or under. I am still at 100+lb weight loss and feel pretty good for the most part.  I am finally getting an iron infusion! I have been fighting to get one for quite some time. I will feel better after I get it. I won't be soooo exhausted.

B - 1hard egg, 2 slices bacon, 3/4 slice toast

L- not sure yet, heading to Niagara falls to do some visiting,  maybe a salad or soup

D- chicken, 1/8c of rice and veggies

Snacks- had a few peanut m&m's, I have a tangerine in my purse and not sure what else I will have.

Getting my vitamins in and liquids.

Have a great day everyone :-D

Hey there, good to hear from you again.  I love the names of your pups, so cute.  What kind of dogs are they?  Not sure why your doctor is suggesting 23 bmi when "normal" bmi weight range is 18.5–24.9 bmi?  Did she say why that specific bmi?

Hi Zizzler,

My puppies are German Shepherds ;-)

23bmi would just be a good weight. I am 5'1" (I lost an inch somewhere, lol) No specific reason tho.

Aw, German Shepherds are awesome.  Are they related?  Or if not do you intend to breed them eventually? I hear you about height measurements, I have been measured as anywhere from 5"3 to 5"6 in the past few years, pretty sure I have not grown or shrunk that much in that time, just depends on who is measuring I guess.  Only thing is if they say 5"3 then my weight has to be lower to still be in the "normal" category, whereas if I am 5"6 I can weigh more and still be "normal".  Kinda frustrating when you are trying to sort out all this stuff though.

:-) They are brother and sister, same litter. I will be getting them fixed the summer.

I figured it out, and I need to lose 18-20lbs. Oi. Will work on it.
