Any ideas to help with face/neck?

I used to use all the Miracle 10 products all the time but ran out so tried many from the drug store and ended up using the Garnier in the green container, the red one burns my skin. I can't use any eye cream other than the Miracle 10 ones but I have to order it from Toronto.
Hey Zizzler , just thought I'd chime in ! I was/ am worried about this being a problem too . So far ( touch wood ) all looks good . I've always used Oil of Olay , since I was around 13 years old . ( used to be oil of Ulay back then !) I've never wavered on that . I wash my face with a Olay scrub wash every day , and use the moisturizer. And before bed I wash off make up and use the night cream On face and neck . I've always washed my face with ho****er , then brushed my teeth then splashed freezing cold water on my face . Pat a little dry ( no rubbing ) leave it damp and then add the moisturizer. It helps with hydration . I do have very good skin , maybe it's genes but I do like to think my routine helps. Wondering about the neck ? Maybe there are some little excercises that could help ? Tone it up a little ? Hydration is definitely key too . So our constan****er drinking should help us !
Good luck dear x

Oil of Olay used to be called Ulay? I had no idea, that's so funny. How old are you? If you are younger than me then I am sure that will help a lot, I am 39. Not sure about exercises for the neck, I will google that, good idea. I totally agree that applying the moisturizer to a damp face is the way to go, I try to do that as often as possible with my vitamin E serum and I think it makes a big difference by locking in the moisture.
I'm around the same age as you and I'm feeling the same effects of age and weight-loss. I wouldn't say it's a miracle, but I'm really enjoying the results of adding a retinol product to my skin care routine. I swear by Paula's choice products. In the am, I use her Anti Aging serum and Vitamin C before my moisturizer. In the evening I use a BHA lotion and have just added the Clinical 1% retinol treatment. I find it's really brightened and evened out my skin tone which is more of an issue to me than wrinkles. There is a ton of info on her site about what ingredients really work and what are a waste of $. I highly recommend you check it out. http://www.paulaschoice.com/

I had the same issue as you and went to a facial plastic surgeon for a consultation just a couple months ago (keep in mind that I'm 53 years old). He is well-known in the Midwest and an expert in his field.
He said that the turkey neck was going to happen eventually whether or not I lost weight. Under the eyes I have a little extra fat that casts shadows and makes me look more tired. And when I raise my eyebrows I have horizontal lines in my forehead that I never had before (amazing how an extra 100 lbs. will plump all that stuff out!). A little Botox has taken care of those lines ;-)
Anyway, he basically told me to save my money and wait for another 7-10 years before doing any face work. He said the benefit I would see from surgery at this point wouldn't really offset the cost. He told me I had great skin and that the best thing I could do for myself would be to go to my class reunion - lol! He said that I probably would look better than 75% of the people there. That's a complete exaggeration cuz the women in my class look GREAT! But he did say I would get more benefit and more bang for my buck if I wait until I'm 60.
I asked him about facial exercises and he said it's a complete myth as far as wrinkles go. Facial movement is what causes wrinkles. And the turkey neck is a separation of the skin from the underlying muscles -- and no exercise is going to repair that. You gotta respect a plastic surgeon that talks you OUT of surgery
I hope this is helpful!
