Any ideas to help with face/neck?

Thank you for your reply, it helps just to hear others have gone through the same type of thing.  I have nothing against growing older gracefully, I think it just took me off guard because it is so sudden, especially the last few months.  It feels like my face is sort of being excavated, not sure what I am going to end up with.  In fact, my whole body sort of feels that way, its just I see my face and neck more than the rest.  I love that you use coconut oil too, it feels amazing on my skin and it smells great too.  I buy the organic virgin kind, is that the same as cold pressed?  I can never figure out the difference.

It is the same type of coconut oil. Cold pressed, virgin, organic coconut oil.  Best of luck.

There is a cure for wrinkles and it's called retinol. There are lots of things you can do to fight wrinkles. Skin sag not so much sadly, but wrinkles/age spots and other signs of aging can be battled.

I highly recommend Paula's Choice products. She has a review website (Beautypedia) that has great (scientific) reviews of almost every product on the market. Retinol and an active exfoliant (BHA/AHA) plus sunscreen and moisturizing can make a big difference. So can fillers and peels, and those do not involve surgery.

A question about the retinol products: Have you found excessive drying/peeling/irritation with these? I ask because I have very fair, sensitive skin and don't need any extra reddening. :/

I also have very fair, sensitive skin (Irish much?! LOL) and had a bit of redness/peeling when I first started. I wouldn't say it was bad enough that I needed to stay home or hide under a veil but I did notice it. It went away after a week. The key is to start with a lower grade and work your way up to stronger stuff. You also want to use a good moisturizer, it will go a long way in keeping the peeling at bay and soothing your skin.

Hmm, if it works then it would be worth it I think, I am going to look into this.

I held off on trying retinol for the very same reasons. I have very fair, sensitive skin with a tendency to rosacea.  I have only been using the Paula's Choice 1% retinol product for about a month and I initially started off every other evening as they recommend. I haven't had any irritation from it and now I can use it 2 days in a row with no problems.  I am also able to use it with the BHA exfoliant and I'm really surprised by that. My skin seems to love it and it really does make a huge difference with fading red and brown spots.  It feels incredible when you put it on.   So far, wrinkles haven't been much of a problem for me, so I can't give a report on that.

Something else to note about Paula's Choice, you can order trial sizes of products to test out before shelling out the bucks on a regular size. Her stuff isn't cheap, but they will also give you a refund on products that you aren't satisfied with and they provide live chats with consultants to answer any questions or concerns.

That's exactly what I have rosacea and sensitive skin, good to know.  I like the idea of buying a trial size to see if I like it, and that they stand behind their products.
