Optifast Changes

So I've been on optifast for about 6 days now.  I hated it at first but after the 3rd day the pancake batter taste seems to have gone away.  I guess you can get used to the taste of anything!  Don't know if I'll ever really like them.

I am concerned that I'm still feeling hungry all the time, tired, lightheaded, and at least a couple of times a day I get a jittery fluttering feeling that are probably palpitations.  Going to call my dietician tomorrow to talk about it, have other people still felt like this?

I'm drinking tons of water, but maybe it's still not enough?

Usually the hunger feeling goes away after 4 days. If you still don't feel right, definitely call your centre.

Talk to the dietician.  How much water is tons?  You need a minimum of 64 oz per day, and that's if you are not sweating at all.  How are your shakes spaced?  Make sure that you are drinking them evenly throughout the day.  I figured out how much wake time I had, and set a schedule.  I ended up drinking mine at 6, 10, 2 and 6 then having a SF jello in the evening.  In between I'd have at least a 500mL bottle of water.  Spacing the shakes evenly might help out with the hunger and the lightheadedness.

Hi Asiina, if your Centre allows it, you could also have some warm chicken broth for when you are feeling shaky.  I found this helped me with my shakiness.  I was on Opti for a total of 19 days.
