What are you eating/doing today (Monday)
Good morning!
Up and at 'em early this morning as I head into my crazy-busy week that I've spent months planning and arranging for (all that for two flippin' days!). All will be great - as long as everyone behaves themselves. lol
Have a great day!
9 years post-op
- coffee with cream x several over the day/evening -
B - Premier protein shake
S - Source Greek (cherry)
L - Costco roast chicken salad (I was THRILLED to find this in their fresh salad section yesterday! I haven't seen it there in a couple of years, have been asking, and it's baaaaaackkkk.... rotisserie chicken, mayo, celery all beautifully prepared for me. Thank you, Costco. You just give and give.), a few melba toast, Strub's full sour sliced up
S - Source Greek (apple pie), handful of grapes
D - the department I am running the election for has ordered us lunch or dinner - I'll have the chicken salad for one, not sure what they've planned/ordered so lunch or dinner is a mystery at this point lol Even if it's pizza, I always enjoy the toppings ;)
S - I packed a couple of ham/cheese/pickle roll-ups if I'm empty

s - few slices of cheese and ham
l - Greek salad with chicken
d - Spicy pork lightly fried with a touch of home made salsa and dill yogurt dip
Iced tead to drink throughout the day, still struggling with plain water.

Morning all. Karen your week will be over before you realize it. It's a short week with Easter Friday and it will be over just like that, good luck though, lol. I've heard a lot of people liking the Costo chicken salad, might renew my membership and try a few things.

Good morning everyone,
I took my daughter to a basketball tournanament for this weekend (3 days, hotel, lots of restaurant meals with the team). I have to say it was my hardest time post op. All in all, my prep paid off but those many meals out are tough. Even healthy snacks/foods I brought posed a problem for over snacking. Lessons learned and here I am.
B - oatmeal with 1% milk & brown sugar 100 % splenda (a strawberry or two)
S- greek yogurt
L- tuna with saltines
S- pickles, cheese, chicken leftover
D- Pasta dish for family but for me.... Baked Tilapia with wild rice with some greens
Snack - Kellogs Crisps with no fat sour cream
Tara :)
That really is hard, Tara. Anytime we're out of routine is a challenge. I'm sure you managed better than you think - and definitely better than if you hadn't done some prep! :)
