Hmmm. Not that it is the same issue as me, and I don't know how your activity has been lately, but my physio discovered my IT band issues. I presents as pain in the knee, but actual problem point starts in the hip, it's too tight from not stretching and massaging properly after exercise. Biking is included. Just a thought on where to start.

Surgery March 23/2011. Completed three full marathons and two half marathons, two half Ironman distances. Completed my first Full Ironman distance (4 km swim, 180 km bike, 42.2 km (full marathon) run) in Muskoka August 30/2015. Next Ironman Lake Placid July 23/2017!

Thanks. This is a pain on he inside of the knee. This knee is not in great shape anyway. I have a meniscus tear in the front and back. The back one is old and the front one new. They tell me repairing it not very successful. I think the whole knee is a little unstable because of the problems not to mention the arthritis.

Ah. I wonder why you don't have pain all the time then....NOT that I want you to!! That's why I wondered about the IT band, because it isn't all the time. I hope you get answers soon!

I find this a really grounding and inspiring experience, reading all your daily food logs and your meal options and choices your snacks. This gives me a sense that life will return to somewhat normal as I reintroduce the food groups post-op. Your all quite inspiring and success stories I need to read.

Today I got in half my water requirement. Still working on getting in more, it is tough especially when your trying to chug down that Optifast batter each B,L,S. I did not get to Walmart today for the Jello Cups, or the MIO. I have had MIO before, and it has really helped me with chugging down the water!

B - Vanilla Optifast (1 Tbsp. Coco Powder, 1 Tbsp. Decaf Coffee Crystals)

L - Vanilla Optifast (1 Tbsp. Coco Powder, 1 Tbsp. Decaf Coffee Crystals)

S - Vanilla Optifast (1 Tbsp. Coco Powder, 1 Tbsp. Decaf Coffee Crystals)
