Coffee, much like butter and bacon, makes it better. ;)

Good morning everyone.  Woke up feeling really panicked about next week, which is going to be really busy.  So I decided to write down which thoughts were bothering me most.  I then countered these thoughts with what I believe to be true from a logical perspective.  Finally, I came up with a plan for the worst possible outcome, the best possible outcome, then what is the most likely to happen.  This was very helpful and I feel ready to face whatever comes next week.

7 months post op

b - banana chocolate protein shake

l - homemade all-seed crackers with nsa jams

s - sf grape Dasani, calcium

d - meatballs in tomato alfredo sauce with garlic and yellow wax beans. Going to freeze the rest for lunches next week

s - egg white psyllium wrap with peanut butter and nsa jam

all vits and water

Good afternoon Ladies!

Gosh Karen I didn't recognize you, Love your new picture. Your man is sure a good photographer or perhaps its his subject right. Barb enjoy your golf game today. Tanya your pea soup sure sounds yummy. I am envious of anyone that can eat soups and cereal and such. I have trouble eating anything runny like that since surgery stew is as thin as it gets for me.

Seeing Barb reminds me, I'm going to dig our my fitbit and start using it again. I have the one you slips on your belt or pocket. I got mine when they first released them, the wrist type was not available unfortunately ...I'm always afraid of losing it at work as I move around a lot. Zizzler the "all seed crackers (homemade) sound wicked!!

Anyway long winded as always over here...Not doing anything at all except rotting on the couch.

B--nothing but regular coffee with cream x 4

L--1 1/2 corn dogs 100 % disgusting loaded with grease I'm sure ...done in the oven, mind you between sharing with the dog and giving my DH the other half Im sure I only had one in total.

D-- the plan is beef stroganoff* with WW noodles but I may just eat 3 shrimp with some edamame beans, I'm on that bean kick these days

D-regular size naval orange w 6 almonds.

enjoy the rest of Sunday everyone :-)

I'm quite sure it's the subject matter. lol

I realized for a long time that I was using a very old picture as my avatar and since I hate having my picture taken, it stayed way longer than was necessary. ;)

Corn dogs, eh? "Breakfast of champions" and all that.

You look so beautiful!! Cant get over the "new Look" well the new look for us anyways

I felt guilty for two second eating that corn dog but once it hit the taste buds.....It was love at first bite. I haven't had one in years. I was telling my hubby it was something I could actually eat without felling gross. (long story re food and feeling gross)...Ill save it for another day lol

Nah, I've looked like that for a few years. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder lol

i think I can relate to "feeling gross" when eating actually. Or immediately after eating dependant on what it was. I went through a real struggle with food a couple of years ago when I was sick and it took a lot of head games and perseverance to "get over it".

yup, I was telling Kelly the other day that I would actually eat high calorie junk food just to get food in. I dropped to something like 136 lbs and for me that's small. 145-148 is lbs is the weight I feel best at. Chicken is enough to gag a maggot in my opinion, total grossness but that's ok I can absolutely live without it. I love beans so I eat a lot of them like kidney and chick peas etc and they sit perfectly without feeling sick so that's good. To be honest I am used to it now, its my new normal me ha ha
