Good morning everyone.  Trying out a flavoured decaf coffee I bought from bulk barn, vanilla hazelnut.  I like it mixed with a vanilla premier protein shake.  Plan for today is to visit value village, hit the gym for a full workout, and run a few errands.  I have been avoiding doing my spring cleaning but I plan to start it today.  I like to start with the area of the house that bugs me the most, then work from there. Gives me a greater sense of accomplishment.  Also going to take a nice long hot bath.

Heated Almonds, now that sounds yummy. Do you heat them in a fry pan or oven. Warming them up sure would change the taste. I eat them almonds often, not a lot at one time of course, I incorporate them into my meals like a few with cheese lets say, I am definitely trying them warmed up.

I heat them in non-stick pan sometimes, other times I use my toaster oven.  I find pretty much any nut or seed tastes great toasted.  Just make sure you watch them carefully so they do not burn.  Sometimes I add some unsweetened coconut flakes and toast them at the same time, really yummy combo.  I am also careful with my nut consumption, have you tried adding a tablespoon of them as a topping for your greek yogurt?  super nice!

Good morning everyone.  Yesterday was crazy busy and I clocked a lot of miles on the car.  Today will be much more easy going (hopefully).  There will be a trip to drop of a box of books to a charity book sale, paperwork, laundry, and some TV in the evening with DH.  I have no****ched any TV since Monday night, so putting my feet up and vegging for a few hours will be good.

Zizzler I found decaf coffee beans in Caramel Crunch, Cinnamon Bun, Irish Cream, Pumpkin Pie, Rum and Eggnog.  I love coffee right now and finding decaf in cool flavours helps me stay off the full octane coffee.

B. 2 large cups of decaf,  protein coffee

S. deli turkey rollup with cheese

L. Beef brisket with a little gravy, cheese grits, sauteed veg, a spoonful of beans

S. deli turkey rollup with cheese

D. same as lunch

S. Greek yogurt Caramel Macchiato

Have a great day everyone.

Those sound awesome, where did you find those flavours? Cinnamon Bun and Pumpkin pie sound especially intriguing. The vanilla hazelnut one from bulk barn was good, I really enjoyed grinding it myself in the store, smells amazing.  Like aromatherapy for me. :0)

I found them in a store in Niagara on the Lake.  The store has at least a dozen flavours of decaf.  I think it's called Victorian teas, maybe they sell online.

Afternoon ladies, happy Saturday. I was so tired this morning, i slept right through midday, eek. I went off the rails yesterday for dinner and i gave into temptation. I had some popeys chicken, removed the skin, a few fries, onion rings and a bit of biscuit with honey (mmm, that was good even i must i admit) and a cookie later on. I enjoyed every minute of it as well. Granted i don't eat out at all and cook all my meals, i surely won't be repeating this as it was too good, lol. Today i'm back to my regularly scheduled eating and i do feel a bit yucky.

B - chicken breast and cucumbers

L - weetabix, almond milk, protein powder

S - lite mozzarella, oz of tilapia

D - crustless quiche, 1 bacon

S - turkey flakes, 2 strawberries, cappuccino.

Have a great day all, Nia
