Good morning and may I say, damn you ALL for your talk of Metro cheese bread and mini rice cakes!

Another fun-filled day at work followed by a "can't get there fast enough" drive home, not sure what else we're doing. I have several good movies to watch (I have sinned and visited a flea market last weekend and purchased bootleg movies, forgive me) but we may go out this evening - have to see what the day brings!

B - Premier protein shake

S - Source Greek 50, handful of grapes

L - 1/2 tin tuna mixed up with mayo and green onions, 1 small flour tortilla, lettuce

S - other 1/2 of the tin, sliced peppers for dipping

D - leftover steak/veggie stirfry (no rice, didn't even make any)

S - Chike protein iced coffee

Have a fabulous Friday!

K. :)

Good morning all. Just came fro TWH. Did the taping this morning. It was fun. Lots of questions about before during and after. They are taping people all day. I hope I get to see the final cut. They may not end up using anything I said for all I know.

Home tonight. My DH wants to barbaque a steak. Spring fever ha****

I have seen a lot of debate about carbs lately. I realise I eat a lot more than many people. Some say you should keep it at 50gr. Today I am already at 56. I know yesterday was bad.Having fruit twice in a day seemed to really set it off. I think for me I will just focus on calories. I am not about to start eating a lot of bread and pasta but I think the carbs I am eating like fruit and nuts are healthy enough. I guess we all have a different way of maintaining.

b greek yogurt, granola, raspberries

l chili, source vanilla/chocolate (new flavour, not bad)

s almonds

d steak, mushrooms, salad, green beans

s not sure

so far

cal 967, carb 56, prot 87

changes I made before surgery, how I prepared. Medical changes after like no more diabetes. Exercise what I do. Complications from surgery. Things I thought people should do to prepare. It was a 45 minute interview. I figure if I am lucky they will end up using about 2 minutes. I hope we get to see it.

Pat you are absolutely right that each of us has to find the right formula for maintenance.  I eat some fruit and also root veggies which are higher in carbs.  I just limit it as I get hungry after.

I love berries - and green beans which you are having today.  Your menu's always look great to me!

Thanks. Everyone has such diverse answers. It is sometimes hard to know if I am doing this right or not. I guess it is a learning process. I was surprised on another board when someone answered a poster that we really do not need so much water. I sure know I do
