What are you eating/doing today? (Friday Junior)

I had to stop buying the mini rice cakes 8 years ago, sadly.  They were too much like potato chips for my body/brain and I would crave them like crazy all. the. time. I swear, they're evil, just like CRACKers. ;)

They are evil, its so true :0)

Have you tried the GROK cheese snacks?  You can get them at the low carb grocery online.  I like them because they taste great but are denser so self-limiting compared to crackers or other chips, plus they have some protein too.  Another good one is the simply protein snacks, you can get those at many health foods stores. Again they are super filling so you will not be able to eat too much.  If you try them let us know what you think? My favourite is the GROK aged cheese.

Yes, I have tried Grok. I was influenced by the 3/$5 sale for the rice cakes. At this time (5+ months out) I don't find they cause cravings, but you never know.

One of my very favourite things for crunch is parmesan "chips". Little piles of shredded/grated parm (or any hard cheese, old cheddar is awesome too) baked in the oven until crisped. Best thing ever for scooping up my homemade salsa.

Apparently I have some cooking to do this weekend. lol

I would be happy to assist you in ridding your kitchen of evil. If you would like to send the mini rice cakes to me, I will guard them safely and not let them get past my mout.... er, FRONT DOOR if they attempt to escape.

Don't worry Karen! I'll protect you by eating them myself! Then when they're gone, I won't buy anymore.
