Quest Protein Chips
I tried Snapea Crisps, and I liked them a lot (too much) but started to think how much difference is there between a pea and a potato? I think the cheese crisps (we were discussing in the 'What are you eating today' thread) might be a better option for protein. One type is called 'Grok' (sounds kind of Klingon, I know).
I have no idea what they look or taste like but what if you break then up and sprinkle over a salad or blend them up in the food processor and make bread crumbs with them, even if you had half regular bead crumbs and half hell chips. My thought is at leave you would be eating them up.
Not to laugh at your expense but I definitely got a good chuckle this morning!

I eat In Snax Pita Crisps. They are available in a few different flavours. There is 2 grams of sugar, 6 grams of protein, serving size is 16 chips, I usually eat half that to get my crunch craving satisfied. I will eat them with a laughing cow cheese, if I have the calories left at the end of the day.
Hehehe hell chips!! Love it..... I have found that any of the "pretend" cracker chips to replace my craving for the real thing just doesn't work...I am pre surgery ( waiting for call to meet surgeon) and trying to make good choices now so it will be easier after surgery...I have tried the special K chips, the cracker chips, well I eat the recommended serving and it then is a fight for me not to want to eat more for the rest of the day...SO for me I have to stay away from ALL those pretend foods...However I found a crazy healthy alternative which satisfies my need for salty and crunchy....DILL PICKLES....I will take 3 dill pickles and slice them up nice a thin and crunch away....I know sounds crazy but give it a try...:)

Oh, I'm a huge dill pickle fan. I have them quite often. Oddly, one of my "crunch satisfiers" is a cup of chopped iceburg lettuce with some apple cider vinegar and some salt.
I think I'll stick to lettuce and pickles for my crunching needs. My other experiments lead to excessive tongue-brushing. ;)
