I tried to start this a few times since 430 but OH kept crapping out.  Will see if my reply works since a new thread wouldn't.  We got a bit more snow overnight after the wonderful sunny day yesterday so will shovel that little bit of crap out of the way. I took out way too many porkchops so now I will be eating them for days.  The package was deceiving.

B - 2 eggs, light rye toast(craving eggs with runny yolk lately)

S - latte made with coconut milk

L - leftover pork chop with mushroom, onion gravy, broc

S - another latte made with coconut milk, cheese, kielbassa

D - same as lunch but throw in 1/2 cup of greek salad

Now you have me thinking about toast dipped in egg yolk....comfort food!

I find it funny because I have hated eggs my whole life.  My mother would fight with me to eat an egg and I just hated them.  Only way I'd eat eggs was in an egg salad sandwich.  Post op I still hated eggs but would force myself to have them in the house since they are a quick protein hit.  I threw out more than I ever used for years and now I have been eating frittatas and enjoy them that way but the other day I just craved yolk.  Still don't find them a comfort food for me though.

Ugh snow and shovelling. I won't mention that we hit a tropical +13 here yesterday. Mind you, that would likely make your allergies have a small seizure. lol

It was 11C here yesterday then last night it dropped fast then got a mini blizzard that looked worse than it was.  Might have an inch on the ground by the looks of it.  I just hate snow on the deck or driveway so I shovel it.  My allergies have been bad for over a week now.  Going skidooing Friday again since we still have tons of snow and ice on our lakes.  Have to make the most of a long, cold winter.

Morning all :)

My computer is quirky this morning and it's harshing my morning zen, so I'm hoping this message goes through!  Off to work for another fun-filled day, a couple of errands on the way home, going to be an early night if all goes as planned. Judging from the bare state of my fridge I may have to stop for groceries too.

Good morning everyone.  Happy St. Patricks Day

A runny yoke egg is definitely a comfort food for me, that's why I always order poached.

Today it's swimming and paperwork, then going out to dinner with friends to a new restaurant.

I am having trouble with things being back up (TMI) and have started using Restoralax, but no joy.  Any advice would be helpful.

Sorry to hear about your plumbing issues. I've only suffered twice in the 9 years since surgery, believe it or not, and both times I took a double dose of Senakot S (I think it's an "S") and it fairly quickly resolved itself. If it continues, I wouldn't hesitate to get advice from your centre or even a trusted pharmacist (I have an excellent one that I trust with respect to meds and vites far beyond my numerous doctors).

Wishing you joy! lol
