LOL...I do go to sleep and end up staring at the ceiling by 3AM....

Sons of Anarchy and Scandal are on my list of shows to watch from the beginning (since hubby only watches golf...ugh) But, Mario sounds pretty good...think i might just do that!

Being nervous is natural. You are about to have a life changing surgery. Just remember you have done your homework and you are ready for this. The surgeons are the best and they want only the best outcome for you. Try to take some deep breaths and now you have made the right decision for you.

Good time to start working on your distraction techniques. They will come in handy down the road

Deep breathing, chug an Optifast, .....

You're going to do just fine. You've done your research, you've prepared as best you can with the pre-op diet, and you're in excellent hands with Dr. Hagen.

VERY best wishes to you!

P.S. I highly recommend Breaking Bad, the first two seasons of Bates Motel, the Walking Dead, and apps such as "diamond digger", "candy crush soda" and other assorted frivolities.

I remember the day of my surgery waking up at home with this odd sense of calm. Its hard to describe but I was at piece. I knew this was the right decision and all the month spent reading and doing research and hanging out with my friends here on OH had paid off....I was totally ready.... 100% ready to move toward the next chapter of my life.

Hoprfully when you are sitting at the hopsital Tuesday you will be calm and the nerves will settle. One this is for sure. Tuesday afternoon (evening) this will all be behind you and you will be sitting beside us on the bench :-)

OMG Karen is so right Breaking Bad is killer (no pun)....I watched it back to back on Netflix same with The Walking Dead. After a while I was seeing "walkers" out on the street for heaven sake. Both shows are amazing.

All the best to you on Tuesday. I will be keeping your spot save and sound for you on the Bench
