Highlandbear and I - We finally MET!
After over four years chatting about our love for running here on OH, Highlandbear (Barb) and I finally met in person. We are both doing the Around the Bay race at the end of the month, and she invited me to join her group and test out the course in Hamilton/Burlington. It was a great day, and a great run. I was so happy to meet her! And someone my size too! LOL. I'm not the only wee runner out there!
Surgery March 23/2011. Completed three full marathons and two half marathons, two half Ironman distances. Completed my first Full Ironman distance (4 km swim, 180 km bike, 42.2 km (full marathon) run) in Muskoka August 30/2015. Next Ironman Lake Placid July 23/2017!

As I have said before it was such a joy to get to meet you. I think you have the longer legs though. I have to say thanks to you and your Iron man Robin asked me when I was going to do mine. I told her I need to do a half in 2 years. I guess she figure if you are doing I can do it. i told her you are younger than me and she says that does not matter. I may not be as crazy as you. Who knows what the future will bring. By the way want your hat goes with my top.
Lol. My trainer friend has finished 9 IronMan races and said that she saw paraplegics in the race and if they could do it, then so could I!b
just found out today that Kentucky is sold out!! :( new decisions have to be made!
