Up at the wrong time again. I'll probably get an hour more. Off to a training session this morning.

Two days left of my Whole Life Challenge. 56 days went by fast! Learned a lot about how much better my body responds to Paleo eating and training. I recover faster, it seems. Bu****ch for a small incorporation of dairy in my menu soon, yay cheese!

b: banana and almond butter (before workout), protein shake after

s: beef jerky

l; spaghetti squash and pork sauce (again and probably tomorrow too lol)

s; roasted chick peas

d; bacon and eggs mmm

have a great day all!

Surgery March 23/2011. Completed three full marathons and two half marathons, two half Ironman distances. Completed my first Full Ironman distance (4 km swim, 180 km bike, 42.2 km (full marathon) run) in Muskoka August 30/2015. Next Ironman Lake Placid July 23/2017!

Yay cheese indeed!

Work today and a late doctor appointment, I'll bring a late snack/small dinner with me to keep me going. Perhaps I'll wander through the mall to kill time in between - time for spring wardrobe shopping!

8.5 years post-op

- coffee with cream x 3 over the day -

B - Premier protein shake

S - Greek yogurt, handful of grapes

L - 3 oz chicken, spinach salad, poppy seed dressing

S - ham/cheese/pickle roll-ups (3); later: Chike protein iced coffee

D - 1 cup chili from the freezer, 2 melba rounds topped with old cheddar

S - likely just tea with a little milk

Have a good one,

K. :)

My spring/summer wardrobe consists of 1 dress, 2 blouses and a whole lotta shorts and T's. The last time I wore business attire in the spring/summer was 2012 prior to my illness and I've long since cleaned out the closets since then. Not a lot of call for business wear in the hospital/on the couch, not to mention I weigh about 20 pounds lighter since then. :/

Good morning everyone and thanks so much for the positive words yesterday. The cravings are getting better and having a snack immediately on hand definitely helps.. Last night it was tea that helped along with sugar free pudding 😊

Todays a big day for activity and it will be interesting to see if I can stay with my eating plan.. Early morning work out.. Work then teach 2 Zumba classes 😳

B: hi protein oatmeal with almond milk

Good for you, Tameka. I know I feel like a deer in headlights and find myself standing in the middle of my kitchen with the fridge and freezer AND cupboards open looking for a snack - I combat this by having ready-made snacks. I also make a list of what prepared foods I have in the fridge/freezer and post it on the door so I can remind myself of what's in there and make a decision without scavenging. Works for me! ;)

That's a great idea Karen! I'm going to use that tip.. I'm a very visual person so a list on the fridge will definitely redirect me 😊

Have you tried flavouring your water?  For me that was the only way I could get in all of my water.  I like orange/mango flavouring and orange/pineapple.
