appointments question

Hi everyone, i got an email with my surgeon consultation tommorrow march 12, dietician, social worker and nurse on may 21. that was all.
Question is: does everyone have the same appointments? i see that some have a lot more to do while others may not?
I was referred in august, 2014, orientation November 4, 2014.
Do they usually give you more appointments?
thanks
I've seen surgeons handle the pre-procedures differently. I don't have a psychological exam at all. I just have three dietician visits and the pre-op blood work. I'm also self pay though, and I think some of the variance has to do with insurance requirements.
Is it possible the May 21 appointments are your first of a possible series?
Some appointments depend on your medical history. But usually that's the base. You may get sent for a sleep study or some others if the Surgeon feels it's needed. I had ECG, Bloodwork and Sleep Study. Some have others because of medical issues that they have. The surgeon wants to make sure that everything is controlled before he/she does the surgery. Just makes it safer for you.

Thanks for your replies everyone. I went to my consultation on Thursday with Dr. Starr. I really liked him. I had to wait a ton of time to see him but I like his calm, warm stance. It made me feel very comfortable. The time frames are long though. I already have sleep apnea and on a cpap machine. I was booked with my nutritionist, social worker and nurse for the same day but another 2 months away at the end of May. After my appointment with the surgeon on Thursday, I had to book with Dr. G (upstairs on the 3rd floor.. sorry can't remember his name at the moment)., but he is booking at the END of August. That will push me past 1 year from referral and almost a year from the orientation.
What happens after that? Do I go back to see Dr. Starr ? Does anyone have a ball park on the time after you see Dr. G?
I'm glad to have found this forum. I think it will be very helpful for me as I continue through this process. By any chance, i see some people can put their appointments at the bottom of their posts. How is that done?
Thanks
