Give them time its only been just over a week, This surgery is

a waiting game, so just sit back, you will be doing a lot of waiting.

If you were at orientation, then you have already met the Ontario bariatric networks BMI approval process. Unless you are a smoker, and have smoked within the last six months. They ask that at the orientation. But once you are at orientation, you're pretty much in. Next step is they will provide you with your next appointments to see the nurse, social worker, psych evaluation and dietician. Once you get the green light from all those appointments (some require 2nd visits, if they feel you have some things they want you to still work on before surgery) You also may require additional testing such as a sleep study etc... But once all give you the green light, you then have a final meet with the surgeon, sign some paperwork, and get your opti. Good luck!
