Sorry about the error yesterday with the day of the week, the last thing I would want to do is to take away someone's Saturday lol. For some reason my eyes popped open this morning at 7 even though I wanted to sleep in.  I blame the daylight saving time switch, my body knows something has changed. I have noticed that I sleep less in general and need less naps than pre-op, which I take as a good sign.  Today will be the gym and sauna, a few errands, some cleaning, dinner a Swiss Chalet with my father.  If I need a nap somewhere in there then I will take one, dammit!

b - premier protein shake, greek yogurt with a handful of almonds and a few strawberries

s - xl decaf coffee

l - psyllium egg wrap with a little margarine and peanut butter

s - sf grape dasani

d - quarter chicken meal at swiss chalet, no bun, mixed veg or salad for the side, chalet sauce, a little butter

s - handful of pumpkin seeds

all vits and water

Awwww.... I was just teasing. ;)

That's an interesting meal at Swiss Chalet, are you bringing your own?

I know, it was funny.

That's so funny, I mentioned I was going to swiss chalet then I put in what I would eat for my at home meal.  My brain is just gone this morning, I swear.  At swiss chalet I will have a quarter chicken dinner, no roll, with mixed vegetables.  That will add to my calories, that is for sure, but I will still be ok.  I'm going to recalculate just for fun.  Lately I have noticed that some days I am over my desired calories and carbs as I am eating larger portions than before, so I think I will start adding portion size to my posts as a reminder to myself.

Hey, at least you know people are actually reading your posts on the thread lol

A few years back we started listing amounts in our menus because there were a lot of "how much of that can/do you eat?" questions. Sometimes I forget as it's such second nature for me, but it really is helpful to record amounts - for others as well as yourself.

I hope you enjoyed your dinner out - Swiss Chicken is always an easy meal.

Thank Karen.  It was good but I could only eat half of it, I find chicken very filling.

Agreed on the chicken and any other dense protein.  I'm not surprised you could only eat half - I'm lucky to finish half myself and I'm an old-timer.  I always go a restaurant knowing that I will not finish whatever I order, ever. I can't. It makes for some pretty great leftovers. ;)

Good morning :)

Good luck with golf, Barb - kick some butt!

Going visiting today, continuation of "house stuff", doing some meal prep for the week ahead, not sure what else. With the warmer months coming (hey, a girl can dream) I realized that I'm going to build a spring/summer work wardrobe since my previous one has all been donated (wasn't a lot of reason to wear business dress when I was off sick and anything I wore in 2012 (sounds like a long time ago, eh?) would be too large anyway). Sounds fun in theory. lol

8.5 years post-op

- coffee with cream x 3 over the day

B - Premier protein shake

S - plain Greek yogurt, homemade SF cranberries

L - 1/2 toasted bacon and tomato sandwich with a little mayo, a few grapes

S - Chike protein iced coffee

D - 3 oz BBQ steak (picked up those boxed angus steaks from Walmart yesterday, was surprised to see a large price increase - used to be $25, new price $29.47 - what?), green beans & mushrooms, a couple of bites of double-stuffed baked potato

S - not sure I'll want one, we'll see

Have a great Sunday,

K. :)

Good morning everyone.  Barb, good luck in the tournament.  Zizzler have fun with your Dad at Swiss Chuck.  For the lovely Karen, enjoy your day, and also the planning of a whole new wardrobe.  And while you're at it Karen, why not think about a get together at Clarkson in May, hint hint, nudge nudge, say no more.

Today there will be no swimming as I am having a meal with the inlaws which is a workout in itself.  Tonight DH and I are going out to listen to female singers celebrating Womyn (yup, that's the way it is spelled on the poster.  It is in recognition of Alysha Brilla's new album.  She will be a guest singer)  Tonight's dinner will be courtesy of last night's leftovers.

Actually, early May sounds like a great idea CC ;)  I had planned to do one in February and then March... and my work schedule is making it difficult to think about anything social. lol

Definitely MAY!
