When should my surgery be approved and a date given?

I have my Dietician Appt (March 13), Nurse Appt (April 14) and then the Psych Appt (May 15). The administrator at TWH said that this will complete my appoints. If everything goes well with them, when should I expect to meet with the surgeon and be scheduled for surgery? I am thinking sometime in June or July with Surgery possibly being in August or September? Is that wishful thinking?

I don't think its wishful thinking. Thats three months apron from time of your last appointment. I was booked in to see the surgeon a few weeks after my last appointment, and given a surgery date of two weeks after that surgeon appointment. I had to start opt immediately. TWH has frequent cancels / openings, so no I do not think that is wishful thinking at all. It all happens very very fast once the appointments are completed. Good luck!
I'm glad you asked this. I'm anxiously waiting for a phone call with the next steps. I haven't yet met with a dietician or had a psych appointment. I hope we both hear soon!!

I had my last appointment with the Dietician at TWH on Jan. 28. My file went to the group for review the next day- they meet on Thursdays. The day after (Friday), I got a call saying my surgeon appointment was on March 13, so for me it was 6 weeks. Your experience may vary.
You can always call to see if there are cancellations for your appointments to move the process along. My orientation was Nov.10 and I got all my appointments in by the end of January. The nurse appointment will end up with a trip to the lab for blood work and an ECG. You will also have to have had a sleep test within the last 2 years. If you haven't they will book you at TWH, and they can schedule that within a couple of weeks. I found all of the staff at TWH to be very helpful and professional.
I hope this helps, and good luck. You have lots of time for valuable research
