Very important point. To not let our frustration lead to sabotage, because we all have been there! Congrats to you on your success the far, I will practice more patience and trust the process, it was just one of those days' :) Thank you!

Jennifer...are you kidding?  You have lost major weight in 5 months.  11 lbs in one month is still a pretty good loss, considering ALL the weight you lost prior to that.  We are only one week into March, so no loss in one week, again is not something to be stressed out about...again, considering how much you have already lost.  Stalls, as you know from reading on here, happen.  You are not done losing at 5 months out..your body is just adjusting, and it will slow down as you have less weight to lose.

I lost 100lbs within my first 6 months, and have really slowed since then and just went through a 2 MONTH stall where I lost and gained the same 3 lbs.  The scale has just now moved.  If reading failed wls posts stresses you, then don't read them.  Just keep on doing what you are doing, track everything, stick to foods on plan, and maybe stop weighing for awhile.  Concentrate on how you feel,  andhow your clothes fit etc.

I think thats it, I have been losing and gaining the same 2 lbs for about three weeks now. I am no longer going to read the failed WLS posts, I don't think they are helping my thought process!  I do feel great, and i am just going to keep sticking to the plan, and trust the process. Some times we just have a bad day... Congrats to you, can't wait to be at that 100b loss!

again, the same thing happened to me just before my one year (8 months to a year) i wanted to reach 100 pound loss so bad by 1 year.. kept gaining and losing the same 2! and that is my advise I give everyone! Trust the process and dont overthink things. as long as you're following the plan everything should work out fine in the end :)

Jenn, You are doing amazing and I totally agree about laying off the scale for short minute you don't need to measure/weigh yourself all the time ....sometimes just laying low and enjoying your new body, exercising, socializing and just feeling great will turn things around.

One thing you might want to try doing is changing your food bit, Exploring new recipes or even changing up your exercise trying something new...that sometimes gives you a bit of a spike.

It's a lifetime journey Jennifer and you're doing wonderful keep that in mind. Stay positive

I took that advice, and did change it up this week. Eating different proteins, swaying away from that comfortable menu I have been living off, that has done me so well thus far, and hopefully it will ignite something in my body.

Thank you Rose, Keep me posted on how you're doing! xo

Hey Jennifer ,

You are doing so well ! I think our bodies just go through ups and downs and take a break once in awhile from losing . But it sounds like you are doing everything right and I know you are a determined young lady !! I know you will get to where you wanna be :))  Patience is not my strong suit either ! But like the others have said , only 5 months out you're nowhere near done ! Stay strong love , you are doing an awesome job!

I feel the exact same way.  I'm 10 months out and feel like I'm done, although I've got 90lbs to get to goal.  I've lost 165lbs.  Which is amazing. I feel awesome.  I've been in the same 5lbs for the last 2 months.  Some of it is a stall I believe but I've also become a little bit carb happy and graze happy and I'm trying to focus on eliminating those regained habits.  It's annoying. I do feel like I'm failing but I've also recognized the problem and need to get things back on track.
