Surgeon Switch
Hi folks - I have been seeing Dr. Sohi and am booked for Surgery on March 6. His office called today to tell me he would not be doing the surgery, that Dr. Huynh (sp?) will be doing it. I am confident that all of them are very proficient, but since I won't be meeting my surgeon until the day of the surgery, I was wondering if any of you had him as your surgeon and how "patient-friendly" he is.
On a side note, Opti is going WAY better than I had expected. I was really worried about going off caffeine, but it wasn't as hard as I had feared. So far, so good!
I don't know Dr. Huynh, but I had Dr. Sohi and was switched 1 week prior to surgery to Dr. Starr.
When I asked why the switch, Dr. Starr said that it is political. Don't worry everything will go good, all the surgeons are great at HRRH. Just don't forget to walk and drink the decaf tea, it helps get everything moving.
Good Luck and I will save you a seat on the loser bench
