Hey, Dr Hagan was my surgeon. My first meeting with him was pretty quick, he went over my weight loss attempts and summed it up by saying "reaching your ideal weight without this surgery is no more possible than you being 5'10" (I'm 5'4")

Finally someone understood my struggle!

He will go over the risks the surgery has....they all do that pretty much each time you meet!

Hopefully you get your next round of appointments right away. You should try to get your appointment with Dr Glazer. When I was there in January they were booking spring appointments.

I love him. He is the most kind, caring, and compassionate doctor I have met.

I had a great experience too.  He has a way of making you feel comfortable and for me, eased the guilt of not being able to lose weight on my own.  Dr. Hagen tends to have longer wait times for surgery dates, however worth it in my opinion.  Good luck!

I don't have Dr. Hagen, but I got to sit in his Lawrence Ave. office at my last appointment with Dr. Sohi --- his office is covered in commendation and appreciation momentoes and plaques from all over - especially as a mentor for UofT School of medicine.....I think he's the cream of the crop.  Best of luck!

Dr Hagen is amazing. He did my surgery in January 2014. I have had some minor complications which he has addressed as well. He is kind, caring & compassionate. Working in health care for over 25 years, I can honestly say he is one of a kind. His wait is longer but well worth it. He will take a chance on people that the others won't touch!

Dr H is my surgeon...have seen him twice, going back on March 9th and then will see him on surgery day March 24th.  I am having a revision but feel I am in great hands.  His bedside manner is incredible (he ain't bad on the eyes either...lol)

Dr Hagen did my surgery in November 2014. He is a man of few words but answered the questions I asked. Our meetings were all brief.  Hour first meeting he explained the pros and cons and was straight forward and honest.  I have had no complications to date and think he did an amazing job. You are in good hands.
