If they are low, there will be a discussion about adding whole grains to your diet.  It's a given.  LOL  Sometimes it's best to just agree.

I'm behind on posting here. When i'm carb-loading for a race (and I only do that now for 30k or more) I do get the fuzzy head as well....then i'm clear as can be during and after the race (before I crash). It just tells me that my body does well at 60-80 grams a day (for me, in maintenance, with an active lifestyle), and over 100 I go fuzzy. It's fun trying to figure out carbs. :-)

Surgery March 23/2011. Completed three full marathons and two half marathons, two half Ironman distances. Completed my first Full Ironman distance (4 km swim, 180 km bike, 42.2 km (full marathon) run) in Muskoka August 30/2015. Next Ironman Lake Placid July 23/2017!

Morning everyone. Your menus look good and unlike most of you, i loath yogurts. Would make my life a whole lot easier if i liked it. Still freezing and can't wait till warmer weather. On a happier note, yesterday my GP called me in to check on my knee. Whilst there, the nurse wanted to weigh me. I was hesitant as i only weigh on my anniversary on the 24th of each month. I reluctantly stepped on the scale and BAM, i had lost 11 lbs since the 9th of Jan when i saw Dr Reed. I was soooo happy especially that it left me 4 lbs from my target weight. I had been feeling anxious that i had gained since i'm not able to exercise as much as i want. I think that eating more regularly and more calories than 500 a day is helping move things along. I'm so happy i wish i could jump, lol.

Your chickpea curry got me thinking about spice - which got me thinking about chili....hence a big pot of chili in the slow cooker....the smell is killing me right now....I am drooling
