Psychologist @TWH

I have my Psychologist appointment @ TWH on Wednesday, just wondering what kinds of questions he/she is going to ask, a long with any advice you have. Anything would be greatly appreciated. 

Hi Jos i didn't see the psychologist I saw the psychiatrist so I am not sure I would be much help with specifics I just wanted to say be honest and open and try not to worry too much. My psychiatist appointment was the one I was most worried about and I got through it with flying colours.

Maybe it is the psychiatrist.. :s I think the lady on the phone said psychologist.. hmmm, well either way, you have been a lot of help. I think Im just nervous of the unknown. I have never talked to either. I love to talk so, I too think I will pass with flying colours. Thank you so much.

At Guelph they have a social worker. They ask you what you have done in the past with diets, how your support is for having WLS is, they just want to know your preparedness for this change. It does take work. If you are open and honest with them and yourself they will see that and help lead you to ways to make WLS work for you.

At TWH you see the social worker/psychologist they will just go over your paper work you have filled out and ask you some other questions regarding eating why you eat etc, your moods, what type of support you have don't be worried its not that bad.

What time is your appointmnet I am at TWH all day on Wednesday for my two year appointment we could meet.

Hey Lynn, I have seen the social worker, she was my first appointment. I was thinking the exact same thing, that the psychologist would be asking me basically the same questions that the SW asked me. Thank you for your help!! My appointment is the very first one, @ 830am. 2 years?? Wow, I bet you have done amazing! I would love to meet up, but as soon as my appointment is finished I will have to drive home. I have other appointment. I will add you as a friend, if thats okay with you, and we could always chat. Hope to hear from you soon.

I will be at the hospital by 830 but my first appointment is not till 10:30 so I will be sitting downstairs.
