Hello! Have a question for the vets 😊

I am 6 months out, and have only lost 7 lbs in the last 3 weeks!! WTH! Yes, I could be gaining muscle due to going to the gym, I am exercising more (I can actually run on the treadmill lol).  Is this the natural slowing of weightloss? Should I be concerned? As always I am trying to ingest as much protein as I can, minimal sugar/carbs.

On the plus side I am wearing size 12, size large clothes. Down over 100 lbs from SW (yeah baby).

From what i have read, this is normal.  It seems our bodies have to adjust and you have lost over 120 lbs. so far.  Congratulations on wearing a size 12, you are doing great.

When you stall I think it's a good idea to run your daily numbers through myfitnesspal too just to ensure that the numbers are where they need to be.

You call over 2 lbs a week at 6 months a "stall"... ???

Not to be negative but the real stalls are coming.  It may be a good time to temper expectations over the next few months.  It sounds like you are doing great.

Hi there, I'm almost 7 months out and I'm having the same experience...I try to keep an even keel and remind myself that it's normal, but I have to say, I'm kind of freaking out.  I have only lost 3 pounds since Jan 22.   The weird part is, my body is still changing and I've gone down a pant size in that time....tell me that makes sense.  Today I will try to maintain my zen by reminding myself I'm wearing a size large top from Banana Republic and a pair of size 16 jeans from Old Navy, and I look super cute.   Yesterday I trudged over 5K through snow on a frigid hike with my pup and I still had the energy when I got home to make some homemade granola and protein bars.  The old me

a)wouldn't have fit into snow pants

b) couldn't drag myself off the couch on a Sunday, especially in -15 weather

c) would have been dead after that intense hike and slept for the rest of the day

d) would have been in massive pain the next day

e) would never have put in the effort to make healthy snacks when McDonalds is so easy!

Think of your amazing accomplishment!!! You are on fire!
