I was just wondering what everyone does to keep active?  How many times a week?

I have a Wii that I bought about 1.5 yrs ago and this is the best investment EVER.  I bought it off Kijiji and got the Wii fit plus with the balance board; I think the Wii fit was $40.  I use this ALOT!  I highly recommend getting a Wii when you start your journey.

I find it hard getting out to the gym and this is so convenient because it is right there in your house and you don't need get out and scrap your car in the winter etc.  LOVE IT!

On the weekends I do head out to the gym where I get in a good work out as well.

I usually walk to the school at least once a day while hauling a couple of kids on a toboggan.

Recently I purchased the zumba kids and dance party discs for the Wii and started them this morning.  They kicked my a**.  WOW what a work out!!!

I workout about 3 times a week, that and I do not have a car or TTC pass so I walk everywhere and take the stairs at work. I was working out around 5 times a week, but it cause me to have a bad reaction, I was not taking in enough calories for the amount I was burning.

I do a weight training class (body pump) at goodlife 2 times a week, this class has been absolutely amazing at tightening all the wobbly bits up, and I play volleyball once a week.

Good on you for stayng active!!

The zumba sounds like fun. I keep meaning to look for it on utube. Right now I am swimming lengths in a warm pool. I am lucky there is one near work and I can do it at lunch.I am really loving it. Which is really important. Fining something you like and will continue. Come spring I will be back on my bike riding to work.  I think when you have kids it is great you can do something at home.

I pretty well work out 6 days a week. I do core class, tabatta, 10-20 30, yoga, swimming and running. In the summer bike riding will be in there. Do have much time with my husband no but he supports me. People need to find something that they like and just do it. Just move the body that is what counts
