Good luck to you!! OPTI is a challenge, but it's such a great payoff, it's soooo worth it! Eye on the prize
I didn't mind opti, I liked it with lots of ice and extra water. I had my 4 each day, lots of water and at dinner time I would have 1/2 an English cucumber cut up with salt and pepper and red wine vinegar. I really lingered over my dinner to get the chewing sensation. I found the weekend a little tough and sometimes just the smell of the rest of the family's food was tempting, but I just kept telling myself that I would be eating soon enough.
I would just caution you to be careful of constipation especially right before surgery.
Good luck, you'll be joining us on the bench soon enough!
That would be a nice option , but i am not to eat anything, i am on clear fluids only.
I did three weeks of Opti and only water, decaf coffee and 1 cup of broth a day. It surprised me how easy I found it to stay on track even though I have a full house of people cooking etc. I think the anticipation is worse than actually going through it. Best of luck to you and just remember this is another step in the process to getting to the 'new you'!
Thanks so much W8_No_More , i did go out and purchase some NO Salt , and also pepperment tea , i find i felt a little dizzy during the day, is that normal? Thank you again.
